North Taranaki cycling advocates

We ride bikes for many different reasons - for transport, for fun, to reduce our emissions - but we come together in our belief that we can create communities where getting on a bike is a quick, easy, and fun way to move around for many day-to-day activities.

We work together to make cycling easier, safer, and more visible in Taranaki.

What do we do?

We work together to make cycling easier, safer, and more visible in Taranaki by:

  • Providing cycling advocacy to our local councils and committees

  • Pushing for improvements to cycle infrastructure and the creation of safe, separated, and signposted cycle routes

  • Supporting cycling as a mode of transport with other bike infrastructure (e.g. parking, storage, etc.)

  • Showing the community how wonderful riding a bike can be and encouraging people to give it a go.
